We spend the winter months aboard our boat in the northern Bahamams collecting rare sea glass shards. The area is rich in beautiful 100 plus year old shards as a result of numerous shipwrecks off of the reefs during the early 1800s.
Our creations include both wire wrapped, drilled, beaded and shards set in sterling silver bezels. We also make picture frames, note cards and other art work using sea glass.
Our jewelry is displayed in gift shops, museums and art festivals in the Bahamas and US.
In addition to making sea glass jewelry and art, we conduct educational programs on the nature and history of sea glass. We help students identify pure sea glass from manufactured glass. We also give demonstrations on how to drill and wrap sea glass shards.
Our programs are offered free of charge to interested groups. We especially enjoy doing programs for children, senior centers and assisted living facilities.
We guarantee that our jewelry is made from pure sea glass. The jewelry comes with a 30 day guarantee.
We do custom work upon request. It is rewarding to turn someone's favorite sea glass shard into a lasting memory.
We are members of the North American Sea Glass Association, American Silversmiths Association and MJSA.
